Randon “Randy” Pool (she/her) | Season Costume Design (1st season with ISF) recently relocated to Whidbey Island from the Central Coast of California where she designed shows for SLO Rep (Picasso at Lapin Agile, Independence, A Christmas Story and Hello Dolly, Always, Patsy Kline, It’s a Wonderful Life Radio Show, and The Marvelous Wonderettes); and operaslo (La Boheme, Madama Butterfly, Cavalria Rusticana, Pagliacci, Oklahoma, Magic Flute) and the Central Coast Shakespeare Festival. Randy served as Costume Director for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles from 2005-2013; a costume supervisor for Holland America Cruise Lines and between cruises, an independent costume designer in the Los Angeles area for more than 25 years. She has designed shows for Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas most recently, Spamalot, for which she was awarded a Kennedy Center Award for Excellence in Costume Design. Randy often spends spends the summer months working with Opera House Arts in beautiful Stonington, Maine and is delighted to be working at home with Island Shakespeare Festival this summer.
